On the Menu: Electrolyte Mocktail
To follow up our Midweek Wellness column on hydration, we're sharing a yummy lemon spritz mocktail full of electrolytes, perfect for an afternoon pick me up this spring.

Lemon Spritz Electrolyte Mocktail
Craving a cocktail, but want to avoid that body lag afterward? Or maybe you're just looking to brighten up your afternoon while adding in extra hydration? Whatever the case may be, this lemon spritz mocktail will hit just right, and give you all the benefits electrolytes bring at the same time.
Ingredients:
- SanPellegrino Sparkling Water
- 1 Lemon
- 1/4 tsp Magnesium
- 1/2 tsp Potassium
- 1/2 tsp Sea salt
- 1 tbsp honey (optional)
Directions:
Add the magnesium, potassium, and sodium to your glass. Mix with 12-16oz of sparkling water.
Then, squeeze in fresh lemon juice to taste. (We usually use a whole lemon).
Stir in honey if you prefer a sweeter drink, and finish with ice and fresh basil.
