Style Note: Our Autumn Wishlist
Today marks the return of Pumpkin Spice in many coffee shops, and while Autumn may still be a few weeks off, we’re sharing what’s been catching our eye for the season. Cozy feels, cool weather- we can’t wait.
While yes, it may still be (the end of) summer, pumpkin spice lattes are here- and that means fall really is sneaking up on us. Of course we’re still taking in those last warm days, but the cool foggy mornings that are rolling in have us looking ahead to cozy sweaters, suede, and darker, moody color palettes. Here’s what we’ve been eyeing in excitement for what’s ahead, our Autumn wishlist:
1. UGG Elea Slip-On
Ugg boots are a tried and true staple for the fall wardrobe, but this year a new style caught our eye. The Elea Slip-On reads more like a clog, and it’s a refreshing change from the Boston Birkenstock clog (which we also love, btw!). It’s created to be worn outdoors, not just in the house, and we can’t wait to pair these with a great autumn fit.
2. Aritzia’s Polartec® Thermal Pro™ 1/2 Zip Sweater
Perfect for chilly morning walks or coffee shop runs, this fleece keeps you warm without needing too many layers. The rich mocha brown color is everything right for autumn. We just know this will be a staple go to in our closets this season.
3. Vagabond Shoemakers’ Itami Bag
We love this bag for so many reasons- The half moon-shape, the color ways it comes in, the adjustable strap- we could go on and on. Whether you get this bag in black leather, dark brown leather, or a lighter brown suede, it will be the cherry on top of every outfit this fall. 4. Free People’s Me and You Midi Slip
Autumn is all about transition. Many of us may have added this piece to our wardrobes for the summer season, but we’re taking it with us into fall. Pair the Me and You Midi Slip with some boots (or even flats) and throw a cardigan over when the temp drops. There’s no better transitional piece for the days when the weather is hot/cold/unpredictable.
5. J.Crew 2025 Rollneck™ Sweater
We’ve all seen and obsessed over the Rollneck sweaters in the 80’s catalogs of J.Crew, and now we’re obsessing all over again. 100% cotton, 100% classic. The neckline, the slouch- this sweater couldn’t be more perfect. We love the fun the pink and brown stripe here adds, and every solid color it comes in is so good that one just isn’t enough. This is a timeless staple we’ll be grabbing again and again this fall.
6. Sézane’s Carter Jacket
This jacket is everything we’ve been looking for- the classic trench style, not too short, not too long, just right. The checked lining really hits in home for us with all the fall feels, and we’ll be dreaming of this silhouette until it’s jacket weather.
7. Damson Madder’s Calf Length Socks
There’s no better time than autumn to wear fun socks with your loafers, and we know these socks from Damson Madder are going to be the star of our wardrobe. The burgundy and brown polka dot is so fitting for this season, while adding a bit of something unexpected to your ensemble.
8. The Six Bells’ Large Sheep Mug
When this time of year rolls around there’s only one thing we want to do: curl up with a warm cup’a. Maybe it’s because of the sheep, but this mug fits perfectly in our cozy autumn mood board dreams.
